Leviton’s B2B Customer Portal provides distributor partners access to the most valuable order management information including pricing, inventory availability, and order tracking. Registered users can place orders, as well as access multiple warehouse locations for product availability, right from the home page. How could such a streamlined experience be made easier? Here are a few simple tips to enhance your B2B user experience.
User Role Assignments
Properly assigned user roles are important to maximize the effectiveness of each registered user within the Portal. The buyer role, for instance can be assigned with or without pricing. Larger organizations with multiple buyers may want to limit access to their pricing details and only make it available to those who need to see pricing and availability. By visiting the profile section, users’ roles can easily be assigned and changed to better accommodate their use of the Portal.
Shopping with a Quote
This is one of the easiest ways of narrowing down products to find exactly what is needed. By going through the quote pages, specific products can simply be checked and copied right into the cart for purchase. The quantity added to your cart is the quantity included in the quote but can be changed at any time before purchase! An additional purchasing tip is to utilize the purchasing list on the left side menu. For items that are frequently ordered or searched, you can add them to your purchase list to maximize efficiency. From the purchase list, products can be checked off with the appropriate quantity and added to the cart.
Searching by Category
The search bar can be used, not only to search by specific products, but product categories. For example, searching GFCI will give out the entire GCFI product mix. This will increase your relevant search results to include products a narrow search may exclude and make finding the ideal product a bit easier.
