In the video, Smart Fixture Mount Sensors, you will have a clear overview of the best applications for the types of sensors utilized in places such as warehouses, parking lots, parking garages and outdoor sports facilities. The video takes you through the reasons to use the fixture mounted smart sensors including Partial ON and Partial OFF settings, energy code ratings, multiple daylighting controls. Used in conjunction with the My Leviton App, users may group and schedule the usage of the sensors to fit their needs.
Leviton’s What are Partial-ON and Partial-OFF Lighting Controls video explains the differences between occupancy and vacancy sensors, and how Partial-ON and Partial-Off lighting controls automatically adjust to a set level based on occupancy.
What is Daylight Harvesting? Leviton has defined it in the video as an energy management technique that responds to the amount of natural light in a space by automatically dimming, adjusting, or maintaining the brightness of the artificial light. There are two control modes for daylight harvesting, “Open Loop” and “Closed Loop.” The video clearly defines each and gives examples of places where daylight harvesting is best used, such as classrooms, hallways, and office spaces.
With the addition of these three videos to the Leviton library, you will be able to access the knowledge you need to quickly assist your customers in finding the best solutions for their lighting and energy saving needs. |
