Redefining Smart Sensing
For many years, smart IoT technology has made products more versatile, efficient, and easier to set up. One example is Leviton’s IP66 PIR Smart Integrated Fixture Mount Sensors. These sensors are ideal for a wide range of commercial applications like parking garages, gymnasiums, warehouses, libraries, and other large facilities. Leviton’s line of Fixture Mount Integrated Sensors combine the latest in motion sensing technology, a dynamic view-of-field, and versatility of all the smart IoT features from Leviton’s Smart Sensor App.
The Smart IP66 Integrated Fixture Mount Sensors are designed for use with switching or 0-10V LED dimming drivers, as well as fluorescent ballasts in high bay fixture applications. Users have the option of internal or external mount models which include out-of-the-box configurations for a quick-and-easy installation. The sensors use a high-resolution digital photocell to allow for consistent dimming even in challenging applications with low lighting or at 40ft mounting height.
Advanced configurations are made using the Smart Sensor App on any Bluetooth-enabled Android or iOS device. Users can adjust timeouts and set and configure daylight and dimming modes for workdays, off hours, and weekends all while allowing facility managers and building owners to meet rigorous energy saving requirements.
Each Smart Fixture Mount Sensor includes two mounting options and provides a 360 field of view for 8,250 square feet of coverage. Units are packaged with both a low-medium bay lens for mounting 8-20 feet high and a medium-high bay lens for 20-40 feet high.
The indoor/outdoor, watertight sensors are rated for high and low temperatures with UV-stable plastic making them a clear choice for a variety of settings thus redefining “smart sensing.” |
