- To make installations faster, Lever Edge’s unique lever termination platform ensures quick, easy, and accurate terminations on the job. Devices additionally support multiple gauges of wire for an all-in-one solution, while Lever Edge’s larger, contractor-friendly plastic straps with alignment tools make installations in multiple gang applications speedier. And because Lever Edge devices have no torque, there’s no torque gun -- or associated annual verification and recalibration activities – required.
- To make installations safer, all of the wires within Lever Edge devices are terminated internally with no metal parts exposed (e.g. no ground screws touching hot wires, etc.), eliminating the risk of shock hazards or the need for electrical tape.
- To make installations easier, Leviton’s patented color-coded levers make accurate installations a breeze, especially in low-light situations, and the resounding click the levers make after wires are pushed in provides positive confirmation of their closure and avoids the need for “guessing.” These features help contractors feel confident that they’ve completed the installation correctly while also making it easy to train new or less experienced contractors.
