- Multi-Way Capabilities -- Smart PIR Wallbox Sensors combine occupancy/vacancy sensing technology with 0-10V dimming control and ON/OFF switching to offer simple energy and labor-saving lighting control solutions for multiple applications. A user-friendly Push to Pair (P2P) process can be utilized to create a multi-way system for up to 5 devices, allowing for expanded features when sensors are grouped together to expand field-of-vision coverage.
- Multi-Technology Strength -- Multi-technology Wallbox Sensors combine the strengths of passive infrared (PIR) and microphonic technology to “listen” for human activity in a space and keep the lights on when motion is detected. These multi-tech sensors feature simple pushbutton programming for the most common options, ensure that lights remain on even when there's no direct line of sight, and enable users to easily configure additional or advanced capabilities right through Leviton’s Smart Sensor App.
- Plug Load Control -- Through the simple addition of a Leviton power pack and controlled receptacle, Smart Wallbox Sensors can offer desirable plug load control, an option which boosts energy-saving efforts even further by automatically discontinuing power to designated plug loads when a space has been vacated.
- Other Advanced Features -- Other robust features available within Leviton’s Smart Wallbox Sensors include timeouts for auto-OFF requirements, partial-ON/partial-OFF for dimming models, daylighting hold-OFF through activation of an integrated photocell program scheduling, create multi-room templates for a fast room replication, and the ability to customize a nightlight feature from a wide selection of RGB colors. Users can also name devices and create a security code to lock configuration settings through the convenience of Leviton’s Smart Sensor App.
- Antimicrobial Option -- Antimicrobial versions of the Smart Wallbox Sensor are treated with agents that inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, fungus, and odor-causing bacteria that cause discoloration, staining, deterioration, or corrosion on the surface of the device in between normal cleanings to support cleaning protocols in commercial spaces.
- Versatility Across Commercial Settings – Ideal applications for Smart Wallbox Sensors include everything from offices and meeting rooms to lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, and other commercial spaces less than 1,100 square feet.
- Code-Compliant -- Depending on the product and application, Leviton’s Smart Wallbox Sensors can be used to comply with such prominent energy codes as IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, and 2022 Title 24, Part 6 (occupancy/vacancy sensing, dimming, and manual-ON/autoOFF requirements), contributing to the achievement of a building’s sustainability goals and/or energy requirements.
