  1. The Opportunity in the EVSE Market Space
    This section provides an overview on the growing market, the forecast, factors driving growth and some of the challenges. You’ll learn that the reasons EVs are gaining momentum throughout the world are due to global trends, such as government incentives and tax credits, innovations by car manufacturers, increasing environmental concerns, and improvements on battery types and associated costs.

  2. Electric cars & EVSE: What’s Out There?
    Today there are over 50 electric vehicles to choose from and every major car manufacturer has an EV option. In 2023 it is estimated that there will be an additional 50 different models slated for production. In this section, you’ll learn about the currently available cars and the equipment needed to support them. This section provides an overview of manufacturers’ make and models, types of electric vehicles on the market, electric capabilities of these cars, EVSE overview, and the latest industry news. You’ll learn the difference between all-battery powered electric vehicles (BEVs) and PHEVs (plug-in hybrid electric vehicles) which are both electric and internal combustion. You’ll also be informed on the different types of chargers (both AC and DC) – Level 1, 2 and fast DC.

  3. Evr-Green Product Applications & Solutions
    Learn about the solutions for all audiences – residential, commercial, public use. This section gives you information on Leviton’s Evr-Green product line so that you can understand and chose the best charging options, such as the types of charging stations, electrical requirements and even mounting features. This section will also provide up-to-date details on ChargePoint™ Network Services, and how it provides the ability to control access, set pricing, display advertising, monitor station status, and generate usage reports.

  4. For more information
    In this section, you can access information and download forms for IRS credits. These include different IRS offerings for property credit, including up to a 30% tax credit, to purchase and install a charging station since December 31 of last year. Links to find out about additional incentives, such as the U.S. Department of Energy, which provides reviews, by state, to determine what type of energy incentives are available by technology and type of user.

  5. Glossary
    Talk the talk. Stay up-to-date on all the terms and definitions in the EV market. Here’s where you will understand the differences in types of engines and car types such as ICE, EV, BEV, ICEV, EVHEV and PHEV. This section provides more terms than covered in the training modules, which will help you when discussing the EVSE market amongst your colleagues and customers.
